Imphal, November 04 2009: Decrying the reported life attempt bid to CDPO, Bishnupur, N Modhubala allegedly by activists of KCP(MC), residents of Singjamei Thongam Leikai where the CDPO hails from today stage a sit-in protest.

Womenfolk participating in the sit-in protest appealed to give her chance to rectify if she happened to do any mistake.

They also demanded to leave ideology giving capital punishment to a person, a group charged of guilty.

With regard to the life attempt bid, the CDPO, Modhubala said none so far warned of doing anything wrong or no demand letter received from any group.
