Imphal, May 25 2009: Troops of Assam Rifles have killed two suspected PREPAK activists today at around 4 pm at the foothill of Thoubal Khunou and recovered one 9mm pistol, a carbine loaded with one live round each.

Police report said that they were killed in encounter and seven live rounds also recovered from the spot where the dead bodies were found lying.

Police retrieved the dead bodies and kept at RIMS morgue for identification.

Parental family of Sunita were informed of her missing on May 22 last by the father of her husband Ragumani and her sister in-law Purnima who came to the house.

According to them Sunita failed to return home after going out from home on May 20 last.
