Imphal, November 18 2008: IBUNGO NGANGOM, Chief Project Officer-cum-Secretary, Information & Public Relations Department of KCP has said that the Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) has nothing to do with the brutal killing of a junior sub-editor of the Imphal Free Press, namely Konsam Rishikanta Singh, who was found shot dead at Langol yesterday.

In a communique sent to the press, Ibungo Ngangom stated that the party was of the opinion that there can be no justification at all for killing an indigenous person whatever his/her guilt in the present state of affairs of the land wherein a large number of foreign migrants are being intentionally driven into this tiny land by the colonial Goverment of India in order to make the foreign population in Manipur become majority.

The unnatural death rate of the indigenous population was also on an upward trajectory as a result of the extra-judicial and merciless killings being done in the name of counter-insurgency operations, he stated.
