Imphal, May17 2009: The KCP (MC) today owned up its hand in exploding a bomb at Langol View Clinic yesterday while saying that it was a part of the outfit's policy of correcting the wrongs in private hospitals and clinics.

A statement issued by the information and public relations officer Puranthaba also claimed to have planted a powerful bomb on May 14 last at Lamphel Sana Keithel as a warning to the Manipur government.

It further claimed hands in the killing of a non-local found shot dead at Khamnam Bazar Soyam Leirak Machin along the New Cachar road.

The statement stated that the person, Mantum Thakur (24) son of Ram Pratap of Bengoon Sarai in Bihar was killed because of acting as an informer for the Army.

Reacting to the statements made by DESAM on the closure of pharmacies few days back, the KCP (MC) statement also urged the students' body to be involved only in academic matter and to try to clean the corruption-filled education system of the state.

As such, the outfit will impose a ban on DESAM forever for interfering in the matter, the statement stated.

It further informed all workers employed in brick fields to lodge their complaint with the outfit via e-mail in case they are nor getting the daily wage fixed by the government.

It also forbids the use of any machine in centrally sponsored job card works.
