Imphal, July 09: The two accused who have been arrested by the police in connection with the kidnapping of two kids from Iroisemba have been remanded to police custody for six days after being produced in the Court today.

Mutum Thakur alias Saratlal alias Deva (35) s/o late Mutum Lukhoi of Lamdeng Makha Leikai and Sorokhaibam Gam (25) s/o late Sorokhaibam Geetkumar of Iroisemba Lourembam who were arrested by the Lamphel police in connection with FIR no.96 (7) 08, Lamphel PS u/s 365/506/34 IPC were produced before the court of CJM Imphal this afternoon.

The court remanded them to police custody for six days for further interrogation.
