Imphal, May 25 2009: The Manipuri Students Federation (MSF) while strongly condemning the act of killing of a professor of the MU inside the MU campus has expressed concern over the spree of killing people by both state and non-state actors in the state.

Whether the armed groups are trying to build a society where only the armed men can live by killing the innocent unarmed men in the state, asked the president of the MSF, Md Atabuddin in a press conference held today at its office.

The killing of teacher inside the MU campus is amidst the call of the people of all section of the society to make educational centres free from all short of violence and the incident is a very shameful incident of the state before others, he said calling to stop the habit of givng fault after killing people.

The killing is an act of coward people, he termed urging concern to give reason why he was killed with an appeal not to repeat such incidents in future.
