Imphal, January 09: Chief Minister O Ibobi along with MPCC (I) president Gaikhangam and the AICC North East-in-charge Sanjay Bhapana left for New Delhi today with a list of likely candidates of the party to seek the blessings of the AICC high command.

Sanjay Bhapana arrived here on January 7 to oversee the poll preparations of the party and attended the Election Committee meeting of the Congress as well as another meeting held at the office of the CM today.

The recommendations submitted by the district and block level organisations of the party which were submitted to the MPCC were discussed minutely in the meeting today.
