Imphal, September 29 2009: A bomb exploded at the residence of CEO Autonomous District Council, Chandel Sng Wurngam at around 7 pm today.

No one was hurt in the explosion.

It is the same time that the residence of the CEO has been come under bomb attack, though the previous one failed to explode.

Condemning the incident as an act of terrorism, Anal Naga Taangpi (ANTA) has appealed all those behind the attack to come out with a clarification and not to repeal such act in the future.

Stating that people will not remain silent if such unwanted activity continues to take place, ANTA also called upon the Government of Manipur to ensure the safety and security of the CEO.
