Imphal, August 27 2009: The Manipur Forward Youth Front (MAFYF) has asked all concerned to put a halt immediately to bomb attacks at hospitals and other public places.

If the perpetrators of such attacks are determined to teach lessons to the proprietors and managers of private hospitals, the proprietors/managers and officials of departments may be pulled up and punished accordingly, asserted MAFYF in a press release.

It asked whether the particular group which responsibility for the bomb attack at Chamber Hospital can do anything for the three innocent persons who sustained injuries.

Observing that bomb attacks at civilian populated areas may cause injuries and even death to innocent person(s) of the family as well as neighbours, MAFYF asserted that such activities could not have been undertaken under a policy meant for welfare of public as the same activities have all the potential to kill innocent persons.
