Imphal, May 27 2009: The identities of the two suspected PREPAK cadres slain in a reported encounter took place at the foothill of Thoubal Khunou on May 25 with 34 Assam Rifles have been ascertained.

The two persons have been identified as Sapam Geetchandra (22) s/o Subon of Nongpok Sekmai and Chingakham Manimohan (21) of Yairipok Poiroukhongjin.

Both the bodies have been handed over to respective families after post mortem examination today.
