Imphal, March 27: Furious with the inhuman torture and alleged sexual harassment meted out to Maibam Naobi of Leirongthel by Thoubal police commandos in the aftermath of the killing of commando OC of Thoubal police N Lokhon in an ambush by PLA on February 20 last, several women bodies are staging sit-in-protest in different parts of the State demanding befitting punishment of the guilty commando personnel.

Such sit-in-protests were witnessed in different parts of Imphal East including Sawombung Thongkhong, Pungdongbam Lamkhai, Sekta, Loushangkhong, Huidrom, Phaknung etc today.
