Imphal, October 20 2008: The proscribed KCP has claimed responsibility for killing Udoi alias Nongyai alias Angousana and his associate Leisa Devi of Khangabok.

According to a release issued by KCP's information and public relations department, chief project officer-cum-secretary Ibungo Ngangom, Udoi and Leisha were awarded capital punishment under order of the party's politburo for their anti-party and anti-revolutionary activities.

Udoi was 2nd Lt and Thoubal Dist Commander of the outfit.

It added that Sgt Maj Tamyangakpa Meetei is the Thoubal Dist commander, 2nd lieutenant Malemnganba Meetei as district commander-cum-fund-raiser-in-charge of Imphal East and lieutenant Wanglen Khuman as district commander-cum-fund-raiser-in-charge of IW.
