Imphal, June 15 2009: The Kangleipak Communist Party (MC) has clarified that it is not in any way involved in the brutal killing of contractor Y Krishnadas.

In a statement, information and public relation officer of the outfit, Puranthaba said that the outfit is also not involved in the killings of migrant workers who have come here to eke out a living.

The outfit further said that the owner of brick farm MIS, Mutum Ibotombi Singh when approached for some assistance four months back had agreed and hence two cadres of the outfit were sent to Nambol.

However Ibotombi had tipped off the police commandos and the two cadres were killed said KCP (MC) and added that the owner and his son should confess to their misdeeds.

The truth came out after the supreme committee of the outfit conducted a thorough investigation.
