Imphal, January 01: Even as the situation is still tense in Khangabok Assembly constituency after Block Congress workers including its president have resigned en masse, the political environment in the Assembly segment has become all the more charged up on account of the tussle between MPP general secretary (administration) L Jatra and former SE Kh Angou for MPP ticket.

Political observers predicted that MPP would face difficulties in case the party fails to choose the more competent and sincere one among the two aspiring MPP candidates.
