Imphal, October 01 2009: The proscribed KCP (MC) has claimed responsibility for the bomb attack at Langol View Clinic.

A press release issued by the outfit's information and public relation officer Puranthaba said that the bomb attack was carried out against defiance of the rules and regulations set by the outfit for all private hospitals/clinics by the clinic's proprietor.

It further cautioned that more stringent actions would be initiated against other hospitals/clinics located in and around Imphal.

Saying that former information and public relation officer Tamnganba has taken leave since a long time back because of health conditions, the outfit appealed to the public to inform the party through e-mail if any one is carrying out any activity in the name of Tamnganba.

The outfit further clarified that it was not related to the abduction of one Professor of Central Agriculture University.
