Imphal, January 15 2009: Decrying killing of Yambem Shashikumar alias Boicha Singh of Khundrakpam Awang Leikai during an shoot out between armed cadres of KCP (MC) and BSF personnel at Nongada last night, a JAC has been formed during a public meeting today and decided to call a bandh along Imphal-Saikul Road tomorrow.

Issuing a statement in this connection, secretary of Youth Development Organisation, Khundrakpam Sorok Haidabi Y Romen Singh informed that Shashikumar had been intercepted and taken along with his vehicle at gun point by some armed persons who identified themselves as activists of KCP (MC) while returning home from filling oil at the Airtel tower at around 8.20 om yesterday and he was killed in the cross-firing between the armed UG cadres and th security personnel.

A memorandum has also been submitted to the Chief Minister in this regard, the secretary informed, and appealed to KCP (MC) to come out with a clarification on Shashikumar.
