Imphal, January 13 2009: The relay hunger strike being staged in solidarity to the cause of Irom Sharmila at Porompat PDA complex has completed 35th day today.

Today's leg of the relay hunger strike was participated by volunteers of the Association of Independence Mind.

The association's Guwahati branch president N Joykumar, vice-president Bimola Laishram, legal advisor Angomcha Arambam, retired IGP Rehman and AMWJU general secretary Biren Yambem spoke on AFSPA and its impacts as resource persons at the protest venue.
