Imphal, August 28 2009: An emergency meeting of all the All Manipur Judicial Officers' Association held at the office of District and Sessions Court, Manipur East here today has strongly condemned the last evening's bomb attack at Cheirap Court complex, Uripok.

The meeting also resolved that the recurrence of such attacks in the court premises should be prevented by the law enforcing agencies of the State Government.

Meanwhile, the All Manipur Bar Association has also strongly condemned the attack at Cheirap Court complex with a gasolene bomb last night.

A sit-in-protest was staged against the attack today, said a press release issued by AMBA while appealing to all concerned not to repeat attacks and other acts of intimidation at court complexes in future.
