Imphal, October 06 2009: Three cadres of KYKL-MDF slain in a shoot-out with a combined team of Bishnupur police commandos and troops of 73rd Mountain Brigade at Leimaram and Tingkai Khunou in the night of October 3 and lasting till next morning have been identified.

The slain MDF cadres were Khuraijam Sunder alias Lakpa (19) s/o Somen of Pukhao Ahallup Makha Leikai, Leishangthem Lakhan alias Gulapi (26) s/o Ibocha of Langmeidong Mamang Leikai and Khundrakpam Surjit alias Laphu (22) s/o Jugin of Kakching Irum Mapal.

All three of them joined KYKL in the past one/two year(s).

The corpses have been handed over to respective families after post mortem at RIMS today.

Meanwhile, one MDF cadre said to be injured in the same gun-fight has been apprehended by Bishnupur police commandos from Moirang this morning.
