Imphal, October 24 2008: The Rongmei naga Baptist Association and All manipur Nupi Marup have expressed strong condemnation against the october 21 evening bomb blast at Ragailong Gate carried out by the proscribed KCP (MC).

In a statement, Rongmei Naga Baptist Association deplored the violent act that has so far claimed the lives of 17 people with many more battling for life at different medical centres.

"The Association can not but fervently appeal to all revolutionary groups or any other outlaw agencies to stop such crime against humanity once and for all," the Association expressed while conveying that it also shares sorrow of the bereaved families.

On the otherhand, All Manipur Nupi Marup described the act of violence as inhuman and cowardly.

While calling upon all concerned to desist from all activities that could compromise safety of the people the women's body also flayed the Government for alleged inefficiency in safeguarding public life and property.
