Imphal, September 20, 2009: The proscribed KCP has condoled the death of its cadre Okram Kiran s/o O Chandramani of Sekmaijin Phoubakchao Makha Leikai.

However, a press release issued by Tabungba of the outfit's information and public relation department alleged that Kiran was not killed in encounter as claimed by AR PRO.

He was led away by three persons in civilian fatigue from Khuman Lampak on the pretext of talking about some matter.

Kiran had no weapon with him.

It also shared the pain and grief being endured by the bereaved family.

The outfit also accused Pradhan Thoibi of Lilando Lampak and one Dewan of deducting 4 percent from the collective wages of NREGS workers besides landing many persons of the party in the hands of police.

For this, the BDO and the 22 Pradhans of Imphal East-II should be held accountable, the outfit asserted.

It further accused Pradhan Bankabihari of Wangoi, Pradhan Sarmila of Mongshangei and Pradhan Chaobi of Yurembam of misappropriating NREGS fund.
