Imphal, October 13: Replying to questions raised by the United Committee Manipur to the State Government relating to ceasefire status and territorial integrity, SPF spokesman Gaikhangam reiterated the deletion of the phrase 'without territorial limit' thereby ruling out application of ceasefire in the State.

Asserting that the SPF Government is taking serious note of unlawful activities of the NSCN (IM) activists within the State boundary the statement mentioned that all possible measures are being taken up to curb such undesired activities and quoted the commitment of Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani not to disturb the State boundary.

Claiming that SPF Government had foiled proposed meeting sponsored by NSCN (IM) at Tamenglong and Senapati recently, Gaikhangam also reiterated the Government's strong commitment to ban all anti-State and anti-national activities intent on creating disharmony amongst the people.
