Imphal, January 07 2009: The proscribed RPF/PLA has offered condolence to its late cadre Cpl Sagolsem Ibohalbi (28) alias Kadamba alias Feijao s/o Khoihi of Uchiwa Wangma Mayai Leikai.

Ibohalbi alias Kadamba was shot dead by a combined force of police commandos and 32 AR at Yairipok Yambem Ching Karak Iroilok at about 11.30 am of January 3.A press release issued by the RPF's department of publicity chief Gm Changjou Cpl Kadamba was apprehended by the combined force from a house at Keithelmanbi at about 2 am of January 3 .

Kadamba was taken to the direction of Tarongthel by a team of AR troops on foot at about 5.30 am.

Then he was taken to Yairipok-Yambem road at Iroilok where he was allegedly subjected to severe torture by the combined team of 32 AR and Thoubal police commandos before shooting him to death at about 11.30 am.

Hailing Kadamba as a valiant cadre, the outfit recalled his different achievements including the ambush of September 18, 2006 at Oksu Meesi where four AR personnel where killed and six injured.

After languishing in prison for sometime, he rejoined the outfit, informed Changjou.

The outfit also shared the pain and grief being endured by the bereaved family.
