Imphal, February 02 2009: The corpses of the suspected PREPAK activists slain in an encounter at Yaralpat with combined force have been taken by respective families after post mortem examination today.

The deceased have been identified as Aheibam Oken Meetei (31) s/o Kumar of Takyel Kolom Leikai and Sh Dinamani Sharma (29) s/o Modon of Yairipok Kakyai Leikai.

Meanwhile, the identity of one of the deceased slain in an encounter with troops of 29 AR on January 30 at near Leibi village of Chandel district under Moreh Police Station has been established.

The person has been identified as Soibam Mocha (22) s/o Mobi of Bashikhong Kongba Irong.

The corpse of the suspected ZPC cadre killed in a reported encounter with personnel of 8 AR in the early morning of January 29 at near New Chahjol village of Chandel district Station is still lying unclaimed at RIMS morgue.
