Imphal, November 01 2008: The Ruangmei Lu Phuam (RLP) has strongly condemned the gruesome murder of Ph Ginthailiu Gangmei of Chaiba (Chalungkhou) under Henglep sub-division of Churachandpur district and Robert Gonmei s/o Dingenang Gonmei of Sanglungpang village, Tamenglong district by the KLA/KLO cadres by burning down an inter-State bus at Lahorijan, Assam on October 23.The denial of KLO/KLA C-in-C Timothy Kuki in the media and admission made by the outfit's information and publicity secretary Malsawm Kuki only reflected 'hide and seek game of the irresponsible Kuki militants', said RLP in a press release.

It further appealed to the Government to provide security along the inter-State highways for passengers and transporters and to extend all possible assistance to the bereaved families at the earliest.
