Imphal, November 25 2009: Armed cadres of Kuki Revolutionary Front (KRF) exploded a hand grenade at Misao Gas Agency, Chingmeirong here at around 4.30 am today.

The bomb exploded in front of the counter near the godown gate located along Dingku Road.

No one was injured in the attack though a truck (MN-01/8508) stationed nearby and some portion of the compound wall suffered damage.

Claiming the responsibility for the attack, information and publicity secretary of KRF Amstrong Gangte, in a statement, said that the attack was carried out by the special task force, Imphal division of the outfit to teach a lesson to the agency for neglecting the diktats of KRF.
