Imphal, March 23 2009: A tanker driver from Manipur was found dead under suspicious condition at Chumukedima in Dimapur district of Nagaland although Dimapur police have claimed that the driver of knocked down and killed in a road accident early morning today.

According to Traffic Control Police of the city, in the driving license recovered from the body being kept at the mortuary of Dimapur Civil Hospital, the identity of the deceased driver has been given as Arjun Singh of Laipham Khunou, Imphal East district.

The identity of the vehicle which knocked down and killed the driver has not yet been able to identify.

According to sources, the tanker driver was coming home after leaving his tanker at Khatkhati as somebody passed away in his family when he met his end.
