Imphal, May 18 2009: Admitting that Yendrembam Shyamkumar alias Boy (22) s/o Y Ibomcha of Waheng Khuman Mamang Leikai and Yumnam Bangkim alias Nganba (21) s/o late Y Tayumngan of Mayang Imphal, shot dead by combined team of Imphal West commandos and troops of 12 Maratha Light Infantry on May 15 at Mayang Imphal Konchak Pat were militias working under its militia unit, the proscribed KYKL has condoled the two slain cadres.

According to a press release issued by the outfit's deputy secretary of publicity and research Apabi Mangang Shyamkumar and Bangkim were killed in a staged encounter.

The outfit also shared the grief and sorrow being endured by the bereaved families and their dear and near ones.

Shyamkumar alias Boy and Bangkim alias Nganba were picked up by some persons in civilian clothes who came in a Santro car (red colour) from a house at Leimapokpam Khunpham when they were preparing to have their meal at about 9.30/10 am of May 15.They were shot dead in the same afternoon at about 4.30 pm at Konchak Pat.
