Imphal, January 13: Out of Rs Three crore earmarked for development of Govt colleges in the State within the 2004-05 session, the State Govt has already released Rs Two crores for infrastructure development of 28 Govt colleges in the State, informed an official of the Higher and Techni-cal Education Department.

Informing that developmental works have already begun in 28 Govt colleges, the official said that similar developmental works would also be undertaken in the remaining colleges after a thorough inspection.
