Many condemn bomb blasts

Imphal, November 01 2008: Many organisations have expressed strong condemntations against the serial bomb blasts in Assam as well as other incidents of bomb blasts in the Northeastern States during the past month.

While strongly condemning the October 21 Pandol, Imphal blast, October 1 Agartala blast and the serial blasts in Assam on October 30, the United NGOs Mission-Manipur have shared the deep pain and bereavement of the families whose dear ones have been killed in the blasts.

The North East Nationalist Congress Coordination Committee (NENCCC) has also strongly condemned the serial blasts in Assam which claimed 77 lives.

In a press release, NENCCC Chairperson Radhabinod Koijam has blamed the Tarun Gogoi Government for failure to take up pre-emptive measures to foil the designs of the terrorists inspite of intelligence report.

The Young Horizon North East India has also joined the condemnation chorus against the serials bomb attacks in Assam.

While terming it an act of cowardice, it appealed to the Central Government to bring an amicable solution to the insurgency problem in the North East region.
