Imphal, January 24 2009: The All Community Development Organisation, Moreh (ACODOM) has strongly condemned the brutal murder of Lamkhothing Mate of Moreh Ward No.9 in a suspected manner of rape.

In a statement, publicity and information secretary of the organisation M Inao Meetei observed that committing the despicable act on a physically handicapped young woman who ran an small Pan Dukan as her principal means of livelihood was not a civilised manner.

Such incident in Moreh where different communities are residing together in peace may cause misunderstanding and incite communal feelings.

So, the authorities concerned should take up serious initiatives towards tracing the culprits at the earliest possible.

Announcing to extend all possible assistance in finding out the culprits, the Organisation has also shared the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family.
