Imphal, May 13 2009: Of the two UG suspects shot dead by troops of 29 AR in a reported encounter at Lamayang under Tengnoupal police station in the morning of May 11, the identity of one has been established.

He was one Amom Dorendro alias Abo (17) s/o Ranjit.

He left home in June last year.

Family members disclosed that Dorendro might have joined PLA outfit.

With completion of post mortem examination, the corpse was claimed by family members today.

Another youth killed in the same incident could not be identified till date.

The youth was wearing blue shirts, cargo pants of olive green colour and hunting boots.

He had short hair and appeared to have tonsured not long back.

He had his ears pierced.

Meanwhile, the corpse of the individual shot dead by a combined team of Thoubal police commandos and troops of 23 AR at Oksu under Lamlai police station in Imphal East district on May 9 has been disposed off unidentified today.

Post mortem examination on the corpse was conducted at RIMS today before it was disposed off.
