Imphal, June 01 2009: Condemning the May 29 night incident of firing attack by unidentified armed person at the Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai residence of Laishram Gopal, IFS, who is the Divisional Forest Officer of Tamenglong, Thangmeiband Improvement Club (TIC) has called upon all concerned to ensure such attacks that could create fear psychosis among the people is not repeated.

In a statement, TIC secretary U Jasobanta Singh also informed that wife of the IFS officer is currently sick and undergoing treatment when the attack took place.

In this regard, TIC and local meira paibis have also jointly staged a Wakat Meepham on May 30, the statement added.
