Imphal, May 29 2009: Describing the slain Manipur University Proctor and Dean of Students' Welfare Prof Md Islamuddin as a simple individual but nevertheless who played a pivotal role in moulding the society, particularly in the field of education the proscribed PREPAK conveyed its heartfelt condolence on the untimely demise of the academician.

In a statement issued by secretary in-charge of he outfit's department of Publicity and Propaganda Aheiba Angom, the outfit's dept of Publicity and Propaganda Aheiba Angom, PREPAK said departure of Prof md Islamuddin is not only a great loss to the student community and Manipur University but would leave a void that would be hard to compensate.

The armed organisation also expressed sorrow and solidarity to the bereaved family.
