Imphal, March 22 2010: Police have arrested three suspects in the murder of Chungkham Jugeshwar of Andro Khuman on the night of February 28 last.

Mention may be made that 28-year old Jugeshwor, son of Ch Kullababu, was found hacked to death on the morning of March 1 near his locality.

A public meeting held today at Andro Khuman has decided to press the police to speed up investigation into the murder case and deliver justice to the people.

As disclosed by the local club, KSC, Yairipok police has so far arrested three persons suspected in the murder case.

They were Yumkhaibam Kullachandra @ Shyamkumar (36) son of Kullachandra, Phanjoubam Tolendro (37) and Khunumayum Rajkumar, all from Andro Khuman.

Kullachandra was rounded up on March 13, Tolendro and Rajkumar on March 18 by the police from their respective home by the police, they said.

The public meeting resolved to press the police to sped up the investigation and award befitting punishments to the culprits involved in committing the crime.
