X Jam NE India tour 2012 (Extreme Sports) begins June 21 2012 at Model Club ground Singjamei . The three day adventure sports in Manipur will be followed by tours to the North Eastern States like Shillong, Assam, Sikkim and Bhutan. The event series is being organised Attitude-x in collaboration with Manipur extreme sports and other Extreme sports organisation in North Eastern India supported by Idea, Rishta trading & Mantripukhri, Eclectic vibes & Eclectic Time Megazine, Sui Generis - Refreshing partners, Mitrang, Ibohal cycle etc. Media partner of the NE tour is 'The Telegraph.

The three day event starts with open Manipur BMX Competition under Park and Flatland Discipline. 11 top performing participants like Minax Miller from Shillong who clinch the North East winner Cyclo BHP, NE India 2011 and 3 BMX riders from the State who are recognized by Indian extreme sports Gupta Mayanglangbam, Ruben Wahengbam , Ronish Thangjam who had an experience of three years in Street Riding besides other beginners will take part in the competition.

The BMX competition would be a knock out round with 3 minute performance for each participant on Day 1 and Day 2 and the final round will be 90 minutes. They will be performing on Quarter Pipe, Jump Box, Fun Box, and Grind Box. The first, second and third prize winner will be awarded with Bicycles value at 40 Thousand Rupees and above for 1st prize, 20 thousand Rupees for 2nd prize and 10 Thousand Rupees for 3rd prize. Three Judges will screen the participants on Technical, Originality and inconsistency during their performance. BOAT, Palace Compound will be the second venue and Hotel Classic the third venue.

Besides 3 BMX riders will be selected from the Manipur Open BMX competition and they will be performing in the International event by Red Bulls titled Red Bull X Fighters to be held in India for the first time on 30th June 2012. The tournament is a dream for every BMX rider in the world.

Mountain biking event under the banner " to channelize energy instead of wasting time in petty crime and abuse in drug, lets ride today is the day, history in the making' on 22nd June by 15 Cyclists from Koirengei to Palace Compound will take place as a part of the festival. The Mountainbiking event will be flag off by Manipur Terriers'.

In the three days energetic event, B Boying - free style dance, Acrobats - where Lion groups of Manipur one of the best in India who clinch the 'Sony entertainment kae liyae kuch bhi karega 2010' will perform. Gaming competition besides live music from eminent artists will enthral the audience. Rock music performance from different artists will also take place.

Curves and shades metropolis will be exhibiting urban based photos, landscape, contemporary and abstract snaps by professional photographers etc. they are event partners 5 member team art exhibitor (Assam), photographer exhibiting photos on metros

5 member Biker team of Meghalaya Extreme sports and XBHP Meghalaya has arrived in Imphal biking all the way to attend the X Jam. The same team will be the co-host in Meghalaya on 20 - 22 July. Arunachal Pradesh , Assam, Sikkim, Bhutan will be the next place of events.

About the X Jam organisation which is solely run by some enthusiastic Extreme sports lover of the State. The event management team is running for three continuous year and their latest achievement is Karbi Anglong X Jam where 50 thousand crowds turn up in a week long programme to have a glimpse of the happening extreme sport events on feb 2012. The same team has promoted Extreme sports in the region by performing in the Manipur Tourism Festival in 2009 & 2010.

The NE X Jam tour is the first time in India and X Jam is working hard in promoting adventure tourism in North East India. The events is giving a chance to adventure lover youths in the State giving recreation and youthful outlets rejuvenating the youthful energy and staying away from Drugs and petty crimes.
