YSWA, NCYWO triumph in Bpr Super Divn League

Imphal, September 06 2022: YWSA, Utlou romped past RFCC-Keinou 4-0 as NCYWO-Nungsai Chiru edged past LASHAL, Leimapokpam 3-2 today in the ongoing 1st Thokchom Ibopishak Singh Memorial Super Division League.

In the 23rd match of the tournament being organised by DSA Bishnupur at Mini Stadium Bishnupur, Damneireng scored twice before the break to hand NCYWO a 2-1 first half lead before the eventual 3-2 win.

LASHAL were first to open the scoring with O Roshan finding the target in the 7th minute before Damneireng had his way to equalise after 40 minutes and overturned the lead two minutes into the added time (45+2').After the break, NCYWO continue to remain in control of the game and earned a two goal cushion thanks to R Jinneilen goal in the 68th minute before H Jotin pulled back a goal for the Leimapokpam side after 79 minutes.

LASHAL, despite chances in the later stages failed to impress and draw level as NCYWO defence upped their ante to make sure there was no chance in the scoreline.

Later in the day, Birjit (29'), Jackson (32') and Indrajit (39') all scored a goal each to hand YSWA a commanding 3-0 lead before Ajitkumar scored the penultimate goal one minutes away from time.
