Pulrang Cup : KYSC, Shining Star and DMMT victorious in men's competition

Imphal, July 29 2019: KYSC, Shining Star and DMMT were able to register victories in today's matches of the men's competition at the Pulrang Cup, the 1st Hill District Volleyball Tournament which is underway at Paraolon Ralringkhu playground.

KSYC, Tamenglong notched up a straight set win (25-18, 25-22, 25-22) against PRYC, Chandel today in the first match (Group B).

Shining Star edged past UKSC by 3-1 sets in a Churachandpur derby (Group A).

Shining Star lost the second set after a good start before bouncing back to seal the game 25-15, 29- 31, 25-18, 25-19.DMMT also sealed a straight set win (25-15, 25-23, 25-21) against MPYC in a Chandel derby (Group B).

Meanwhile in a Group B league match of the women's competition, MPYC, Chandel edged past LYC, Liwa Khullen.

MPYC stumbled in the opening set but made a huge comeback to surge to a 20-25, 25-10, 25- 9, 25-20 win at the end.

YSCT, Chandel also romped to a 25-19, 25-16, 25-20 in another Group league match of the same competition.
