Eastern Sporting Union women's team leave Imphal

Imphal, November 21 2017:
The Eastern Sporting Union's women football team have left Imphal to participate in the AIFF Indian Women's League which which will commenceon November 2 5 at Kolhapur.
The Women's League is organised by All India Football Federation and two teams from Manipur will take part in the league namely, ESU, Wanghei and Kangchup Road Young Physical Sports Association.
ESU team are led by O Bembem Devi (team coach), RK Amusana (assistant coach), A Premjit (team manager) and Silhenbi (physiotherapist).
G Radharani, Karam Tony, Ng Sweety Devi, N Thahenbi Devi, M Achoubi Devi, E Panthoi, I Sunibala, Mandakini, Umabati, Ranjita, Pumima, Jandha, Lalam Haokip, Kashmina, Permeshori, Sultana and Ranjibala are in the ESU team which left Imphal today.
One player from Ranchi and and 5 players from Jalandhar will also join ESU
for the league.
Speaking at the office of ESU, Dr RK Nimai, secretary ESU, said that the team will give their best in the Women's League and will certainly bring laurels to the State.
