UVA wins 4th YOLLO Cup

Imphal, July 18 2012: UVA, Uyumpok Terapur lifted the champion's trophy of the 4th YOLLO Cup Football Tournament organised by Young Learner's Library and Leading Organisation (YOLLO), Keibi as the tournament concluded today at Keibi Primary School Ground.

The final match was played between UVA, Uyumpok Terapur and host YOLLO-A, Keibi Makha Leikai.

After playing a tough match, UVA beat host YOLLO�A 2-1 and won the tournament.

Even though they lost the match, Ropen drew the first blood of the match in the 9th minute.

Unable to open their account, UVA players fought back with an aim to square the score.

In the 20th minute, UVA were able to equalise the score from a direct shot from Amarjit which fell right into the net passing the YOLLO custodian.

After the equaliser, Babu came up with the winning goal of UVA in the 29th minute of the match.

The match concluded with the scoreline at 2-1 in favour of UVA.

N Babu of UVA was declared Man of the Tournament.

Amarjit of UVA won the title of Best Forward while his teammate Naobisana was adjusted Best Defender.

The award of Best Goalkeeper was won by L Romen of YOLLO�A .
