IFC clinch IW 1st Div Football League title

Imphal, September 06 2022: IFC (Lamphel) were crowned champions of the 28th L Sangita Devi Memorial 1st Division Football League 2022 organised by Imphal West District Football Association.

SDC (Samurou) and KYC (Khurkhul) both registered wins in the last two league matches played on Tuesday.

IFC gained a total of 14 points from their seven games to win the Imphal West 1st Division Football League 2022 title.

KYC finished runners-up after beating SCK 2-0 in their last match.

L Rishikanta found the opener in the 28th minute and L Aboy made it 2-0 in the 77th minute for the eventual 2-0 result.

With the win, the Khurkhul side secured 13 points from seven matches.

YUC claimed the third place with 12 points on better goal difference against SDC who also accumulated 12 points after their 2-0 triumph against LFC in their last match on Tuesday.

Srinivash (54', 78') scored both goals of SDC.
