MBSU, Wahengbam Leikai rounded off its campaign in the 9th S Birendra Singh memorial (IW) Super Division Football League Tournament with a solitary goal win over KSC, Lambulane at Langjing Achouba ground today.
The win put MBSU seven points clear of KSC - its nearest opponent in the six team league competition.
Prasanjit struck the match-winner in the 36th minute.
In another match of the day, goals on either half by M Romeo (5th) and Kh Ranjit (60th) helped YAC, Yaiskul defeat KRYPSA, naoremthong by the odd goal in three with Benjamin Golmei striking for the losing side.
YAC finished fifth as KRYPSA sunk to the bottom.
DM Rao and Sagolband United both culled 14 points but the former occupied the third position on better goal difference.
In the Moirangthem Ibobi Memorial Division I (IE) Football League tournament YDC, Awang Potsangbam and FUC, Uyumpok were locked in a goalless draw with RAU, Lairikyengbam Leikai and NESU, Khurai tied 1-1 at Thambalkhong ground today.
Tomba scored for RSU in the 13th minute while an own goal by Boicha 71 minutes into the game ensured a point for NESU.
The league tournament has been won by UPSA, Pukhao with a haul of 19 points in the eight-team competition followed by NESU in second position.
At Mini Stadium, Bishnupur PESU, Oinam held ELSA, Naranseina to a 1-1 draw with L Thoiba scoring in the 53rd minute to neutralise L Ibohal's 19th minute goal for the opponents.
