Imphal, September 20 2013 : In commemoration of the birth anniversary of Hijam Irabot (1891-1896), Manipur Students' Association, Delhi (MSAD) would be organising an essay writing competition cum lecture on september 28 at the Department of History, University of Delhi.

The topic of the essay competition is "True nationalists cannot be the toy of the imperialists.

True nationalism is sovereignty; the sovereignty of a nation cannot be destruction of the sovereignty of another nation," which is an excerpt from Capitalism by Hijam Irabot (30 September 1896- 26 September 1951).Cash prizes would be given to the three winners and certificates to all the participants.
