Medical fraternity demands justice

Thoubal, August 17 2024: Endorsing the cease work protest launched by medical fraternity across the nation, doctors, nurses and staff of Thoubal District Hospital staged a sit-in protest at the hospital premises today.

The demonstration was staged in solidarity with the medical community who have risen in protest against the brutal rape and murder of a PG student at RG Kar College in Kolkata on August 9 .

The protestors demanded swift justice for the victim and rigorous punishment for the perpetrators involved.
