GOC arrives in Imphal

Imphal, September 13: 3 Corps GOC Lt Gen RK Loomba and his wife and president of Army Wives Welfare Association Anita Loomba arrived in Imphal on a one-day visit today.

The General Officer accompanied by IGAR (South) Maj Gen AK Choudhary visited the forward areas of Moreh, Sehlon, Moltuk, Chandel and units of Hqs 57 Mountain Division where he was briefed by respective Commanders on the prevailing situation and developmental works undertaken by security forces in these areas.

The GOC complimented the commanders and troops on the excellent work being done by them and exhorted to continue the same.

The General Officer was also briefed by Maj Gen AK Choudhary on the prevailing situation of the State at Mantripukhri.

Anita Loomba interacted with the ladies at Mantripukhri.

They will leave Imphal for Dimapur tomorrow, said a press release of PRO of IGAR (South).
