Ukhrul, August 26 2024: The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Ukhrul has informed all water consumers of the District Head Quarters that there will be no tap water supply for a few days.

In this regard, Executive Engineer (EE) Themreishang Marei notified that the main water pipe coming from Shinguira area of Shirui has been badly damaged due to incessant rain and landslide in the sinking areas of Langdang village and GREF area of Ukhrul.

As restoration of damaged main line pipe will take at least 3-4 days, supply of tap water in the town will be disturbed this week, he added.
