Imphal, September 13:
Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) sought State Government's stand on the stay ruled by the Gauhati High Court on the declaration of results of lecturer's posts for various colleges of the State.
Accusing that the State Government is not making its efforts sincerely to revoke the stay of the Court, MSF asserted that the Government is keeping mum and passing time in this regard.
MSF also asked when the interview for 84 posts of lecturers for Government higher secondary schools will be fixed.
The students body said that according to a notification issued on December 30, 2006, Rs 200 for general and OBC candidates and Rs 50 for SC/ST candidates were charged for the said interview.
MSF also demanded the Government to take up actions regarding these two matters at the earliest.
