MCPCR visits injured students

Imphal, July 07 2014:
A team of Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR) led by its Chairperson A Nabachandra Singh visited Shija Hospital, Langol on July 5 to see the conditions of the students of Evergreen Flower School, Thoubal Ningombam who sustained injuries in a road accident that took place on July 3 at Thoubal Leishangthem Leikai.
The commission has observed that accident had occurred due to the negligence of the drivers of the school van and the truck and the responsibilities should be fixed by the Motor Vehicle Department.
