Imphal, April 16 2024:
Meetei (Meitei) Tribe Union (MMTU) has extended its sincere gratitude to all Meira Paibis and local clubs who participated and helped organise "No ST, No Vote" campaign on April 14 .
A statement issued by the Womens' Wing of MMTU addressed Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to the State on April 15 while expressing disappointment.
It said that the Home Minister failed to take up the demand for inclusion of Meeteis in ST list.
The Union Home Minister also failed to ask public about their aspirations and left after simply campaigning for the BJP, it added.
