Imphal, May 29 2023: Meetei (Meitei) Tribe Union, Kabo Leikai, Imphal, has condoled the untimely demise of retired Lt Col RK Rajendra Singh, former member of Manipur Human Right Commission.

He passed away on May 23, 2023 .

In a condolence message, MTU also shared the pain & grief of the bereaved family and prayed for his soul to rest in peace in the heavenly abode.

"The demise of such a public-spirited-figure is indeed a great loss of the Meitei community", it added.

A condolence meeting was held at the residence of Th Gopimohon Singh in Keishamthong Laisom Leikai, Imphal.

The gathering observed two minute silence to pay respect to the departed soul.
